Sciton Micro Laser Peel
"The Weekend Peel"
The
Micro Laser Peel is the latest in skin rejuvenation. The
Sciton utilizes a short-pulsed Erbium laser to ablate
the outer layers of the skin at precise depths. We offer
these peels from 10-50 mircrons. This treatment delivers
excellent results for poor skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles,
acne scars, sun damage, etc. One 10 micron Micro Laser
Peel is the equivalent of 3 - 4 microdermabrasion treatments.
You will experience 2 - 7 days of redness and/or peeling

Lamellar
Peel
This
treatment consists of a non ablative laser skin rejuvenation
treatment immediately followed by a superficial ablative
laser treatment of a 15-20 micron laser peel. A series
of 3 treatments 6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal
results.
The sequential use of non ablative and superficial ablative
laser treatments clinically and histologically improved
photo damaged and chronologically aged skin. This occurred
with a minimal recovery and little morbidity, demonstrating
this laser application to be a safe and effective method
for facial rejuvenation.

and widest variety of BBL (Broad Band Light) technology
to deliver effective treatments for hyper pigmentation,

Broad Band Light
Acne Therapy
Broad Band Light has now proven to be one of the most
effective acne therapies available today. In many cases,
we can prevent our clients from needing to go on aggressive
oral medications such as Accutane or long term antibiotics.
The shorter wavelengths of BBL, in the blue light spectrum,
attack p-acne bacteria on the surface and in the sebaceous
gland. We recommend a series of 3-4 treatments, once
every two weeks. Along with a home skincare program
designed for acne prone skin, you can experience significant
long-term clearance. Ask about BBL treatment for red
pigmented lesions.

Levulan Photodynamic
Therapy - Acne Treatment
This is a powerful new treatment modality. This revolutionary
new FDA approved treatment utilizing a solution called
Levulan also know as aminolevulanic acid and kerastick.
The Levulan solution is applied to the skin and will
be absorbed by the skin for approximately an hour.
The skin will become highly photosensitive, meaning
that skin will be very sensitive to light. After an
hour, the solution is washed off the skin and the
patient undergoes an intense pulsed light treatment
and/or treatment with a Blue Ultraviolet light (Blu-u-light).
These treatments will remove growths on the skin,
including precancerous zones and spots called actinic
keratoses. As well, some cancerous growths will flake
off the skin within a month leaving no scar. Sun damage,
fine lines and blotchy pigmentation are also improved.
This treatment will also reduce pore size, oil glands
and effectively treat stubborn acne and improve the
appearance of acne scars.
Patients with severe sun damaged skin, tone changes
and skin laxity may see excellent results. Active
acne can improve dramatically. To achieve maximum
improvement, a series of 4-6 treatments 2-3 weeks
apart is most effective. However, some with precancerous
zones are happy with only one treatment.
The disadvantages may be that there can be some red
and swollen areas for 1-2 days. As well, peeling can
occur for a few days. The advantages are: Easier than
repeated liquid nitrogen, Efudez (5-FU) or Aldara,
because the side effects are minimal, rapid healing
and only 4-6 treatments are required. Treatment is
painless. No scarring, as compared to cautery, surgery
and Efudez. Liquid nitrogen can leave white spots
on your skin. Photodynamic Therapy improves the entire
facial area, creating one color, texture and tone,
as compared to spot treating with liquid nitrogen,
cautery and surgery.

Broad Band Light Acne Therapy
PBBL for acne is advancement in light-based acne treatment.
As in the treatment above, we use BBL in the blue light
spectrum, as well as the topical solution Levulan which
we apply to the skin 30-45 minutes prior to the treatment.
Clinical studies have shown that we can achieve in one
treatment of PBBL what normally takes 34 treatments
with traditional BBL. With BBBL, you will have 48-hours
of strong sun sensitivity as well as 48-hours of downtime,
the results are the best you can achieve.

Thermascan
1319 Acne and Acne Scarring Therapy
The 1319 acne treatment is
an FDA approved „no downtime‰ laser treatment
for acne, and acne scarring targeting the papillary
dermis and promoting collagen remodeling. Greater

apart, is reduction of active acne for periods of

Glycolic Therapy
Glycolic Acid comes in varying
strengths. At lower strength is used as an exfoliate
and at higher strengths it is used as a mild peel.
As an exfoliate, it softens and loosens the dry, dead

process uncovers new skin cells to reveal a smoother,
